ENRU

Last updated: May 8, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Jay Shambo ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the application Jay Shambo Publisher (the "Application"). The Application is a private internal tool used by the owner of Jay Shambo to schedule and publish their own video content to their own social media accounts (including Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, VKontakte and similar platforms) via official platform APIs.

The Application is not distributed to third parties and is not intended for use by other end users. It operates exclusively on behalf of the account owner.

2. Information We Process

The Application processes the following categories of information:

  • Authentication tokens issued by social media platforms (e.g. Pinterest API access and refresh tokens) that allow the Application to publish content to the owner's own accounts.
  • Content created by the account owner, including video files, titles, descriptions, hashtags, SEO keywords and scheduling metadata, prepared for publication on the owner's own social media accounts.
  • Technical metadata returned by social media APIs after publication, such as post IDs, post URLs, status codes and error messages, used solely for operational logging and retry handling.

The Application does not collect personal data of other users, does not access other users' accounts, and does not read or store data of audiences, followers or commenters beyond what is strictly required to publish the owner's own content.

3. How We Use Information

The information described above is used solely to:

  • Authenticate against social media platform APIs on behalf of the account owner.
  • Upload, schedule and publish the account owner's own video content.
  • Record publication results (URLs, identifiers, errors) in the owner's private content database for operational tracking.
  • Retry failed publications and diagnose technical issues.

The Application does not use information for advertising, profiling, resale, or any purpose unrelated to publishing the owner's own content.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Authentication tokens are stored in a private, access-controlled environment used by the account owner.
  • Video content is stored in the owner's private cloud storage prior to upload.
  • Publication metadata is stored in the owner's private Notion workspace.
  • All API communication occurs over HTTPS.
  • Tokens are rotated and refreshed in accordance with the requirements of each platform.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share information processed by the Application with any third party, except where strictly required to perform a publication action requested by the account owner via the official APIs of the relevant social media platform (e.g. Pinterest API, Instagram Graph API, YouTube Data API, VK API).

6. Data Retention

  • Authentication tokens are retained only for as long as necessary to operate the Application and are revoked when no longer needed.
  • Publication metadata is retained at the discretion of the account owner.
  • The account owner may delete any stored data at any time.

7. Third-Party Platforms

The Application interacts with third-party platforms via their official APIs. Use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies, including but not limited to:

8. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly process information from such users.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
